Muting MIDI Notes

The Mute command lets you mute individual MIDI notes. If entire clips are selected, the Mute command prompts you to either mute clips or MIDI notes.

To mute one or more MIDI notes:

1 Select the MIDI notes you want to mute.

2 Do one of the following:

Choose Edit > Mute Notes.

– or – 

Right-click the selected MIDI notes and choose Mute Notes.

To unmute one or more MIDI notes:

1 Select the MIDI notes you want to unmute.

2 Do one of the following:

Choose Edit > Unmute Notes.

– or – 

Right-click the selected MIDI notes and choose Unmute Notes.

Press Control+M (Windows) or Command+M (Mac) to mute and unmute selected MIDI notes.
